Sharing LIP-5 proposal to change Profile(s) to Network(s) to my network (pun intended) https://github.com/lens-protocol/LIPs/pull/21
As with Lens Protocol V2, Profiles and Handles are separated by both having its own NFT to register user ownership of these two primitives. Given previously profiles included a handle (and social graph), it made sense to construct these primitives as a profile.
With Lens Protocol V2, Handles are reflecting user identity (how users are identified) and Profiles are simply User IDs and a network of on-chain registered connected nodes of User IDs that constructs user's social graph.
Proposal follows the concept of "you own your network".
